I’m Deirdre; an Irish born writer with a passion for celebrating the intricacies of life through the written word. My favourite poet Patrick Kavanagh explored the concept of seeking out the extraordinary in the ordinary which has become a mantra I strive to follow. The beauty that can lie in a sunset or a perfectly brewed cup of tea or a moment of laughter shared between friends should be worthy of our attention.

Through my writing I seek to explore insightful matters and this website serves as a collection of such work.

We all have a lot to say but a lot more to learn and I hope to continue learning and improving every day.
